Malvin Marr Albright, more popularly known as “Zsissly”, the identical twin of Ivan Albright and son of Adam Le Lorraine Albright, first achieved fame as a sculptor, then as a painter after he exhibited at the Corcoran Biennial Exhibition in 1932. Created first as a painting of the same name, and earning Zsissly the Altman Prize from the National Academy of Design, “Lobsterman’s Wharf, Maine” is a popular print published by Associated American Artists in 1946.
